OUR ROLE

Chronofoods is a company located in MAKEPE RHONE POULENC, PO BOX 1608 DOUALA (in front of the Police office Rhône Poulenc). Chronofoods act as a technical agent, that allows restaurants showcased on the website to commercialize their products to customers, on an order basis. Chronofoods only allows transactions between restaurants and customers related to food orders and drinks. The customers can place orders among a variety of products available and offered by the different restaurants. Chronofoods does not possess, sell or resell any of the merchandise. All of the products available on the site are brought to you by the restaurants themselves

YOUR STATUS

If you want to place an order on Chronofoods you need:

-The capacity to properly function and interact with the restaurants and delivery personal.

-18 years of age

Allergies

In case of allergy or any type of food intolerance, it is your responsibility to carefully read all the information regarding the menus, possibly containing allergenic components. For your own safety please place the order only when you are sure, that the food you are ordering matches your needs.

Concerning alcohol consumption 

According to the Cameroonian law, selling alcoholic drinks to underaged individuals (18 years old and below) is strictly prohibited. We also want to let you know, that alcohol abuse is dangerous for the health and can cause severe consequences. Please drink Responsibly. To avoid any further issue, a mean of identification will be requested by our delivery executive, for any order containing an alcoholic drink.

ORDERS AND DELIVERIES

The concerned products, being perishable means, you do not get the right to desist. Once the order is confirmed and paid, there is no way to cancel it. The delivery services are available only in an area of 5 kilometers surrounding the given location. This website, will purposely only show you restaurants located 5 kilometers away from you, meaning you will not be able to order from a faraway place. The order is only definitive after the payment. The customer will then receive an electronic notice, informing him that the order has been confirmed. No order will be delivered without a payment confirmation. At Chronofoods we invest our efforts, for our consumers to receive their orders within the announced time period. In case of delay, please contact our customer service immediately.

PAYMENT

The authorized payment methods are debit cards Visa and Master, and electronic payment via MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money. As mentioned before, payment is a compulsory step to make, for an order to be confirmed. The customer will have to submit his/her card details during the payment on our platform. It means the customer has to make sure that his/her debit card details are precise and correct before completing the payment. The restaurants have a minimum amount required to place orders, that will appear as soon as you will start adding items to your cart. Note that you will not be able to place an order, if your cart total does not reach the required minimum amount. Delivery fees will obviously be added for every delivery. The standard delivery fee is 500 FCFA. It will be immediately added to your cart total.

TAKE NOTE

Chronofoods will not be responsible:

  • -Unavailability of particular products or meals on the menu
  • -Opening and closing time of the restaurants
  • -Restaurants sending the wrong order
  • -In case of incorrect address. Please make sure that delivery location is correct and reachable.
